Three Pillars of Welfare

Saksham Anganwadi &
Poshan 2.0

Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS)

Provides supplementary nutrition, immunization, and pre‑school non‑formal education to children under 6 years and lactating mothers.

POSHAN Abhiyaan

A national nutrition mission targeting a reduction in stunting, under‑nutrition, and anemia among young children and women.

Mission Shakti
(Women Safety & Empowerment)

Sambal (Safety & Security)

Includes One Stop Centres (OSC) for immediate medical/legal aid to women facing violence, and the 181 Women Helpline.

Samarthya (Empowerment)

Includes Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY) maternity benefit cash transfers and Hubs for Empowerment of Women (HEW).

Beti Bachao Beti Padhao

A nationwide campaign aimed at preventing gender‑biased sex selection and ensuring the education and participation of the girl child.
